#TaosRocks is a community art project designed to spread creativity, joy, and exploration in Taos, New Mexico. Founded by Pamela Vanderway with the support of Taos Mainstreet and Taos Destination Stewardship Network, this project invites local and visiting professional and amateur artists to paint rocks with an uplifting or inspiring design, write #TaosRocks and @TaosRocksArt on the bottom, and hide them in the Historic District of Taos, New Mexico for others to find.

The goal? To make art more accessible, encourage people to explore Taos on foot, and create small moments of delight for both locals and visitors. Artists can sign their rocks if they wish and share them on social media with clues to their locations. Those who find a rock are encouraged to take a photo, post where they found it, and keep the adventure going!
